Diamond Scorchers Suffer 9-7 Loss to Toronto
The Toronto Beavers handed the Arizona Diamond Scorchers a loss at The Lodge. The final score was 9-7. Tomás Guzmán was one of the major contributors for Toronto. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. Rob Miller picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ryan Brown suffered the loss. Lee Ross finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

José Alvarado, who is a five-time All-Star, helped out the Toronto cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the third baseman was 1-5 with a double.
