Nine Score Late to Beat Black Bears, 6-5

Frank's Place was rocking after an exciting Nine win.
The Hoboken Nine beat the Appalachian Black Bears, 6-5, at Frank's Place. The Nine got a fine performance from right fielder Nicholas Kelly, who was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Hoboken currently is in last place in the Zotti League Woolley Division at 35-45.
Adam Robinson was the walk-off hero for Hoboken. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nine shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
In postgame comments to the Hoboken Today, Robinson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
