Solís at His Best, Blanks New Providence Thursday, July 20th , 2045 Clark Solís hurled a fine game for the Amsterdam Rugmakers at Ballpark of Toledo, holding the New Providence Cannons to 3 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Amsterdam manager Richard Trinidad said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The left-hander had 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 6-0 victory. "An outstanding job," New Providence manager Miguel Rodríguez said. "We couldn't get anything going.
