Brewers Win Nail-Biter

The Milwaukee Brewers picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, knocking off the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3. Starting pitcher Nat Southerland played a key role in the triumph. Milwaukee reliever Lukas Vander Wilt picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Briggs Bolin shouldered the loss. Lewis Tierney recorded his 1st save for Milwaukee.
Enzo Thomas, the 27-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Thomas contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put Milwaukee up, 4-3.
After the game, Milwaukee manager Rob Juarez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
Milwaukee is now 13-13.
