The Medicine Hat Stampede got a superb performance from left fielder Braeden Sellars, but the Helena Brewers still won the game, 4-3. Sellars was 2-3 with 2 home runs. The winner in relief was Kenneth Wilkie. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Helena raised its record to 12-5 with the win.

Frank Stanley was the walk-off hero for Helena. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Brewers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I was a little disappointed," said Medicine Hat manager Brantley Johnson. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
