Big Day for Alvares in 9-6 Falcons Win
The Fresno Falcons bested the Las Vegas Knights, 9-6, at Big Slick's House of Hardball. Eric Alvares was one of the standouts. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6. With the win, Fresno improves its record to 18-12.

With Fresno leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Alvares hit a fastball from Jonathan Woodberry for a bases-clearing double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Falcons ahead, 5-1.

Alvares told the Fresno Gazette: "I was born for the big stage."
