Reds Waste Great Game from Kirkendall
Glen Kirkendall had a good game, but he could not keep the Cincinnati Reds from falling, 11-6, to the Memphis Blues at Blues Stadium. The Cincinnati shortstop was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 in the loss. The winner was Charlie Sylvia in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Roger Jenkins took the loss. Aaron Yeomans earned the save, his 11th, for the Blues.
