Steers Hang 4-2 Loss on Gauchos
The Sedona Steers stopped the Glendale Gauchos, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Joseph Tamrat. The 18-year old center fielder made life miserable for Glendale pitching. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Ethan Salmon earned the win for Sedona. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 3-4. Todd Lee finished the game for Sedona and earned his 7th save.

In the top of the ninth, Mark Brito stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Gauchos were trailing 4-2, but had runners on 2nd and 3rd. That's when Todd Lee made a terrific pitch and Brito struck out. Gone was the dream of a Glendale comeback.

With the win, the Steers improved to 21-30.
