The New York Mets defeated the Indianapolis Ignition, 6-5, in 12 innings. Elih Zelaya led the way, going 3-for-5 for New York. Zachary Britt, now 3-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. New York now sits in third place in the Eastern Region North Division at 18-18.

New York won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Timmy Linder on the mound for Indianapolis, designated hitter Emmanuel González hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mets fans to their feet.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Zelaya. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
