Dodgers Take Down Giants, 5-3
|
Starting pitcher Ray Morrison pitched well enough to help the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants, 5-3. The winner was Scott McKinnis in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Luther Diamond took the loss. Lucas Williams earned the save, his 1st, for the Dodgers.
Ryker Andrade, the 28-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Andrade contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put Los Angeles up, 4-3.
In postgame comments, Andrade said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
Los Angeles is now 21-17. San Francisco is 17-21.
