The Indianapolis Ignition topped the Boston Red Sox, 5-2, at Fenway Park. Indianapolis second baseman Wendell Dominique banged out 1 single and 2 doubles, while driving in 1 runs. Indianapolis pitcher Alan Welsh got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Orlin Luna got the loss. Allan Spincic was credited with the save for Indianapolis, his 5th of the season.

Ryan Penryn, who is tied for 5th in the EAST in hits with 51, helped out the Indianapolis cause in the top of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 5.

"It was a good effort all around," said Dominique.

The Ignition raised their record to 23-17.
