Reds Need Extra Innings to Top Indians, 8-6
The inspired effort of Cleveland left fielder Antony Olguin was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-6, to the Cincinnati Reds. Olguin went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Andrés Velasco earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 5-3. Cincinnati raised its record to 80-66 with the win.

The result might have been different, had it not been for D.J. Boucher, the Cincinnati first baseman. Boucher had a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Reds ahead, 7-6. For the game, Boucher had 1 double and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Boucher.
