Honolulu Pins 7-1 Loss on Triplets
|
Honolulu ThunderSharks starter Frans Parish was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Evansville Triplets, 7-1. In 6 innings, Parish surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. The 4th-place ThunderSharks improved to 29-27.
Miguel Ángel Limon had a big 2-run home run for the ThunderSharks in the top of the fifth inning. With Honolulu leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Frank Courson and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the ThunderSharks ahead, 3-0.
"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Limon.
