Cincinnati Tops Boston, 10-7
The Cincinnati Reds stopped the Boston Red Sox, 10-7, behind an impressive performance from D.J. Boucher. The 24-year old first baseman made life miserable for Boston pitching. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Cincinnati reliever Roger Jenkins picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Ángel Villanueva shouldered the loss. The win puts the Reds at 25-26, while the Red Sox drop to 20-31.

Boucher had no bigger at-bat than in the top of the first when the 24-year old first baseman hit a 2-run home run. The home run gave Cincinnati the lead, 2-0. It was his 10th home run of the season.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Cincinnati manager Dave Lockett.
