Wranglers Pick Up 4-2 Win
|
The Oklahoma City Wranglers downed the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 4-2, at Wranglers Ballpark. The Wranglers were led by Dauri Martín. He was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. The 7th-place Wranglers raised their record to 40-50.
Ethan Centra drove in one run for Oklahoma City. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Caden Cooper. It was his 11th RBI of the season.
Winnipeg manager Tyler Weatherwax said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
