The Omaha Storm Chasers and Nashville Sounds obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.
The Omaha Storm Chasers bested the Nashville Sounds, 7-6, at Werner Park. Logan McDaniel was one of the standouts. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Meyers Turner was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the seventh when McDaniel hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Storm Chasers into the lead, 7-6.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said McDaniel.
The win gives the Storm Chasers a record of 23-66.
