Edmonton picked up a win at Field of the Edge, bumping off the Albuquerque Isotopes, 5-1. Pitcher James Clemons was a major reason the Edge emerged victorious. Xavier Miller closed the door for Edmonton, picking up his 5th save of the year. Edmonton raised its record to 60-39 with the win.

The Edge got a big at-bat from left fielder Oren Lane. For the game, Lane was 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Edmonton a 3-1 lead.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Clemons. "Successful pitchers do it."
