Winnipeg Pins 3-0 Loss on Aces
|
Winnipeg Goldeyes starter Murray Green was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Reno Aces, 3-0. The save was credited to Prospero González, his 1st. Winnipeg is now 60-55.
Winnipeg used the bat of Dominic Blaser to get the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Goldeyes ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Green.
