Wranglers Win 2-1 Walk-Off
|
The Oklahoma City Wranglers had to overcome a fine performance from Reno pitcher Yonelvy Reyes to grab a 2-1 win at Wranglers Ballpark. Reyes allowed 1 run over 7.1 innings. Lucas Kniffin earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-2. The Wranglers' win now puts them at 54-80.
Dauri Martín was the walk-off hero for Oklahoma City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wranglers catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place sure got loud," said Woo-jin Sim, the Oklahoma City manager.
