Pirijanian, Chihuahuas Sink Express Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of second baseman Luke Pirijanian, the El Paso Chihuahuas stopped the visiting Round Rock Express, 8-6, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series today. Pirijanian was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Chihuahuas, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Ryker Eudy, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2046 draft, chipped in for El Paso with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," El Paso manager Kelly Ury told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Wild Card Series, it's only going to get harder."
