Game 5 was big. So was Joe Borck.

The Memphis starter rose to the occasion at Rogers Centre today, leading the Blues to a crucial 3-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. Borck threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs as the Blues won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Regional Championship Series.

Memphis used a clutch hit from Alex Nicholson to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blues ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Memphis manager Roberto Rivas.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Tuesday, November 5th , 2052.
