Oliu Leads Falcons to Win
Juan Oliu was a major contributor to the 9-6 Fresno win over Baltimore. The Falcons designated hitter was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The winner was Fresno reliever Mikel Rodriguez, now 9-1. The loser was Kyle Baker. Gregg Walters converted his 21st save in 21 tries.

Fresno used the timely hitting of Aryan Christopherson to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Falcons on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Christopherson said.

The second-place Falcons go to 47-25.
