Ottman Leads Expos to 11-5 Win Over Cubs
The 11-5 Montreal win over Chicago was due in large part to Brian Ottman. The Expos second baseman was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Montreal, at 45-27, holds down second place in the Eastern Region North Division.

Montreal first baseman Valentin Suárez contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball into left field for a 2-run single. It was his 66th hit of the season and put the Expos ahead, 8-4.
