Reds Sneak By White Sox, 2-1
|
Cincinnati Reds starter John Fegley turned in an exceptional performance against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, resulting in a Cincinnati win, 2-1. The Reds have now won 4 straight.
Ben Howell provided a timely hit. The Cincinnati center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Reds on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"This was a game where every at-bat, every pitch counted," said Fegley.
