Vancouver used a superb performance from starting pitcher Bernard Ennis to down the Boston Red Sox, 4-0. Earning the save was Tony Young. He's now cashed in 6 of 9 save opportunities. The victory gives the Cascades a record of 57-44.
Lawrence Carla, the four-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Carla contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Vancouver up, 2-0.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Carla told the Vancouver Daily.
