Philadelphia had no answer for New York Mets hurler Adam Swanson, who overwhelmed Phillies hitters as the Mets coasted to victory, 7-1. The Mets, at 70-60, have now won 4 straight.

New York relied on the bat of Emmanuel González to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mets ahead, 6-0. For the game, González had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
