Though he had a great game, Liam Sena could not single-handedly produce a win for Boston. New York won the game, 5-2. Sena went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Pudge Sifford, the 34-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sifford contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the second inning to put New York up, 2-0.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Sifford told reporters after the game.
