Bakersfield Rallies for 4-2 Victory
|
Despite the rain, the fans at Jim Perry Stadium enjoyed a good ballgame.
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Dan Dominico the Bakersfield Blaze defeated the Lancaster JetHawks, 4-2. The Blaze now have a record of 56-56 with the win over Lancaster.
Oliver Baker drove in one run for Bakersfield. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Paul Maginot. It was his 13th RBI of the season.
Baker called the win "a pick-me-upper."
