Rangers Come Back Late to Top Astros, 3-1
The Texas Rangers took Houston pitcher Derron McKenzie's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Minute Maid Park. The final score had Texas getting past the Astros, 3-1. McKenzie went 6 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 10. Bobby Walker earned the save for Texas, his 2nd of the year. The win gives Texas a record of 2-1.

Texas used a timely hit from Sebastian Carsten to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Carsten attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
