Beloit Mettle Tested in Tight 3-2 Win
|
The 2052 season is off to a good start for the Beloit Snappers. The hometown Snappers knocked off the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 3-2, at Harry C. Pohlman Field. Beloit pitcher Dilan Mendoza paced his team to the win.
Seth Tullius was the walk-off hero for Beloit. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Snappers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"What an ending!" said a jubilant Tullius.
