Toronto Hot Streak Continues with 4-0 Win
|
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Toronto Blue Jays.
Toronto Blue Jays starter Renny Leech was in fine form against the New York Yankees at Rogers Centre, leading his team to a win, 4-0. The loss drops New York to 2-8.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth inning, but Leech was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 3rd and New York trailing 2-0, Leech retired Dave Herbster, who grounded out.
