The Greenville Drive got a good effort from starter Randy Churchill in defeating the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Fluor Field at the West End. The final score was 1-0. With the loss, Bowling Green is 13-5.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Greenville first baseman Dane Tattershall, facing Steven Richardson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Drive the 1-0 win.

"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Tattershall. "Maybe this win will help."
