Grasshoppers Rally to Tally 2-1 Win
|
Greensboro overcame a superior effort from Mike Peck to beat Charleston, 2-1. The Charleston pitcher threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Greensboro is now 22-14, Charleston 17-19.
Edgardo Castillo was the walk-off hero for Greensboro. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grasshoppers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Castillo said he "would like to have scored more runs for Prewitt. But we'll gladly take this win."
