Intimidators Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
|
In the 2-1 Kannapolis win over Columbus, the impact of Timo Pérez was substantial. Pérez was 3-5 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. With the win, Kannapolis upped its record to 29-14.
Pérez had a game-changing home run in the top of the 15th. On a first pitch fastball from Jameson Head, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Intimidators a 2-1 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Pérez.
"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Pérez.
