The home crowd had a good time watching the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and Niagara Falls Rapids get after it.

The Niagara Falls Rapids picked up a win at Nat Bailey Stadium, knocking off the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 6-2. On the mound for Niagara Falls was right-hander Jason Haas, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Rapids raised their record to 12-15.

Kennedy Ackerley made an early impact for Niagara Falls when he stroked his 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Rapids on top, 4-0.

"I had a good game plan," said Haas. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Chris Cornwall said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
