Staten Island Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Led by Cash Hartshorn, the Staten Island Pizza Rats defeated the Abbotsford Canucks, 4-2. Hartshorn was 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Pizza Rats. Ron Eubanks earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. His record is now 2-1. The win puts the Pizza Rats at 28-30, while the Canucks drop to 29-29.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Staten Island trailing 2-1, Hartshorn hit a splitter from Joshua Poyner for a 3-run home run, giving the Pizza Rats the walk-off win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Hartshorn.
