Moore 5-for-7 Against Orioles Wednesday, July 19th , 2051 Chicago Cubs center fielder Meredith Moore really lit up the Baltimore Orioles with a 5-hit barrage today at Wrigley Field -- a performance that sparked the Cubs to a 12-9 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Meredith Moore singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a three-run home run off Charlie Kerr in the 12th.
