5-Hit Barrage by Moore Sunday, July 30th , 2051 Meredith Moore had an answer for everything the Philadelphia Phillies threw at him today at Citizens Bank Park. The Chicago center fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Cubs on top, 2-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Moore said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Meredith Moore doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this season Moore has 6 home runs and a .316 batting average.
