EAST's Best Player, Lane of Baltimore Monday, August 7th , 2051 Shaun Lane demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Eastern Region Player of the Week Award. The Baltimore left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (11-for-22) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Lane is batting .302 with 100 hits and 21 home runs. He has scored 51 times and has batted in 62 runs. |
