Weatherspoon, Serrano Suspended for Fracas Friday, June 28th , 2052 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Evansville-Edmonton contest at BB&T Stadium. The Triplets Denzel Weatherspoon and the Edge Eduardo Serrano will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Thus far this year Weatherspoon is batting .233 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 37 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Serrano has won 6 and lost 0, collecting 60 strikeouts and 12 walks in 89 innings with a 2.73 ERA. |
