Bradenton's Jacobson Suspended Friday, May 17th , 2052 Chris Jacobson of Bradenton got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Tampa Tarpons. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Jacobson for 3 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Jacobson obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." This year Jacobson is hitting .195 with 25 hits, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and has scored 12 runs. |
