Hudec of Lake County MID Batter of the Month Saturday, June 1st , 2052 At only 23 years of age, Ray Hudec could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Lake County Captains, as May was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Midwest League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .304 with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season Hudec is hitting .335 with 54 hits, 11 home runs, 41 RBIs, scored 41 runs and played in 48 games. |
