Marlins Come Back Late to Top Cubs, 4-2
The Miami Marlins got a stellar performance from pitcher Sandy Alcantara, who handcuffed the Chicago offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Wrigley Field. Miami reliever Dylan Lee was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Brad Wieck. The save went to Drew Steckenrider, his 4th this season.

Miami got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Jonathan Villar. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Marlins ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Villar.

The win puts Miami at 21-34.
