Staten Island Narrowly Wins McNamara Division Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 Staten Island baseball fans are celebrating right along with the Staten Island Yankees after a razor-thin McNamara Division victory. With the division in doubt going into the final day of the season, the Yankees have outlasted the competition to take the 1st division crown in franchise history. "We don't have much time to enjoy it before we're thinking about the playoffs," said second baseman Oliver Dunn. "It took a lot of character to come out on top in this one." The Yankees have compiled a record of 45-32 this season. |
