Los Angeles Loses Paul Kardow, Will Miss Season Sunday, September 26th , 1948
The season is ending on a bad note for Paul Kardow, starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Electrics. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Kardow was hurt against the New Orleans Pelicans while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered knee surgery and will be out for at least 8-9 months.
This year Kardow has compiled a 16-18 mark with a 4.29 ERA.
