Aviators Out of Playoff Race Monday, September 17th , 1951 It's back to the drawing board for the Los Angeles Aviators. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Aviators have made the playoffs 3 times in their 81 years as a Transcontinental Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 15th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1936. |
