Jablonski Hit Streak Reaches 30 Games Saturday, September 29th , 1951 Ray Jablonski of the Chicago Navies tagged 1 hit in today's 7-5 loss to the Detroit Stars at Michigan Central Stadium to run his hitting streak to 30 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 30-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Ray Jablonski flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Jablonski has a .331 average and a .368 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 204 hits, 9 home runs and driven in 101 runs. |
