Indians Squelch Dust Devils Offense in Shutout Win
Left-hander Sam Olesky mesmerized the Tri-City Dust Devils while leading the Spokane Indians to a 3-0 victory. Olesky yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 7-4. Danny Grimes recorded the save, his 19th.

The Indians got a big at-bat from third baseman Randy McQueen. For the game, McQueen was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Spokane a 2-0 lead.

"Sam throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Spokane manager Blake Lalli.
