Braves Rally to Win
|
Danville starter Jorge Soto pitched well against the Burlington Royals at American Legion Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. The win went to Chris Koch in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Juan Mora took the loss. After today's action, Danville sits at 39-13, while Burlington falls to 15-37.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Danville. That's when Luis Frausto hit a 2-run home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Mora to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"The positive vibes are all around the clubhouse," said Braves manager Jordan Carter. "Once you see a player having a good at-bat, that's really contagious."
