AZL Giants Black Win Thriller, 3-1
|
It was pandemonium at Emperors Stadium after an exciting walk-off win.
Starting pitcher Omarion Helaire took care of business, helping the San Francisco (AZL) AZL Giants Black stifle the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians Blue, 3-1. Their 10-7 record puts the AZL Giants Black third in the East Division.
Rodolfo Morera was the walk-off hero for San Francisco (AZL). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the AZL Giants Black center fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Morera said.
